Connect an SMS number with Twilio

SMS runs on Twilio. If a customer texts your Twilio number, the conversation appears in the same shared inbox with the same reply tools and AI helpers as WhatsApp.

What you need

1. 1 A Twilio account with an active phone number.
2. 2 Your Twilio Account SID.
3. 3 Your Twilio Auth Token.

Steps

1. 1 Open My App and find the SMS (Twilio) card, then click Connect.
2. 2 Enter your Account SID, Auth Token, and the phone number in full international format (for example +15551234567).
3. 3 We verify the credentials and automatically point the number's inbound webhook at CrossInbox so replies flow in.
4. 4 Press Test settings to confirm the credentials are still valid at any time.
